About Blakeney

Blakeney is located on the North Norfolk Coast, just North of the small market town of Holt. This part of the coastline has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ANOB and the marshes and wide open spaces around Blakeney make it a haven for migratory birds and wildlife.

Blakeney used to be a small port, but is now a quiet village and provides an ideal location for a family holiday. There are two hotels, a number of holiday cottages to rent, and several B&Bs. Please click here if you are looking for local accommodation.

Blakeney is popular with dinghy sailors, bird watchers and walkers, and you can get a real feel for the area by taking a trip to Blakeney Point to see the seals

This webcam is situated on the hotel opposite ‘The Moorings’, and shows the view from the bottom of the high Street, looking out at Blakeney cut.

There is plenty of parking on The Carnser‚ an area adjacent to the quay, which is run as a pay and display car park by the Parish Council.
